An advocate for reducing carbon emissions, Wendy has led her organisation to reduce their carbon emissions over a 4 year period from 60 to 6 tons of CO2 emissions.  Wendy was the founding chair of the Small and Medium around the Reservoir Traders (SMART) Business Association and the past Chair of the Southern Adelaide Skills for Jobs in Regions Network.  She was recognised by an International Women’s Day Community Award 2016 for outstanding contribution to our Southern community from Katrine Hildyard MP, Member for Reynell, in 2013 noted on the South Australian Women’s Honour Roll, and in 2011 Wendy was recognised with an Achievement Award for her contribution in the local business community.
