Hi there

Feedback has been outstanding with comments from organisers such as,

Thank you again for presenting at yesterday’s conference.Participants remarked how your engaging and natural style coupled with the relevant and useful knowledge you shared was a highlight of the day for them.I look forward to working more with you in the future.

This was where I presented a Local Government Future Workforce keynote at the Local Government Professionals South Australia Human Resources Workforce 4.0 Conference, followed by Wendy Campana on the Kangaroo Island workforce planning case study, and Jurlique’s story on resilience and well being.

Australia Awards Africa

What is the best way to teach networking, pitching techniques, leadership for transformational change, reaching out and social media?To practice & ‘do it’.Facilitating the soft skills connections and linkages workshops in Canberra, Adelaide and Melbourne with leaders from Africa has seen many penny drop moments.

Thank you for the heart felt feedback and taking the opportunity to step up and lead as Australia Awards Africa Scholars – hope to get to Africa sometime soon!

Bangkok with UNESCO

Over 30-31 August 2018 I participated in the Regional Seminar on the 4th Industrial Revolution and TVET: The Relevance of Entrepreneurship Education.The presentation topic was Entrepreneurial Education in Australia which also led to an invitation to join the WorldSkills ASEAN conference and competition by the President, Simon Bartley.

This also provided the opportunity to benchmark against other countries including Iran, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, China, Korea, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam.Keep an eye out for upcoming professional development workshops on designing world-class entrepreneurial education experiences.

Entrepreneurial Education & Mindset

Some people say, not everyone can be an entrepreneur and perhaps that is true but an entrepreneurial mindset is sought by employers, entrepreneurs, government and industry alike.

On a recent booked out City of Entrepreneurs Tour the feedback from participants was a highlight,

Thank you for the great day we had with the Tour and your hospitality. We really enjoyed the experience.

Excellent tour. It was very insightful tour and highlights the ingenuity of a small city.

Thank you for a fabulous day.

There was much interest in:

1.A tour specifically for students;

2.Classroom activities over 90 minutes with practical activities about Entrepreneurship, whether that be developing a product or other activities;

3.Guest speakers list who are willing to come out to schools and speak to students;

4.Professional Development Day on a Future World of Work Tour with Provocateurs;

5.Social Capital intro and tour for student leaders; and

6.When the next City of Entrepreneurs Tour for Educators – STEM, Entrepreneurship & Future will be running?

You may have ideas about what might work for you and your colleagues so we look forward to hearing your suggestions.
