Building an Adaptable Workforce, Career Development & new AR Resources

There are quite few events and conferences coming up as well as projects related to building skills profiles for jobs in 2020 and 2025, NDIS Fit and Ready Workforce projects, Regional Workforce Audit, staffing resources and skills gap analysis, all building an adaptable workforce.

This week I’m hosting and presenting a key note at the 21st Century Capabilities – The Future of Jobs, Skills and Work FORUM in Melbourne and then onto the Australian Institute of Training & Development (AITD) National Conference with EduTECH in Sydney so if you are going along then please let me know.

City of Entrepreneurs Tour for Educators –

STEM, Entrepreneurship & Future Jobs

The City of Entrepreneurs Tour across Adelaide on 30 May 2018 (see more pics here) demonstrated where STEM is in current and future jobs, connected you to coworking spaces and the entrepreneurial ecosystem, introduced you to leading businesses, local and global employers, and educational institutions all developing skills for future jobs.

Feedback included comments such as, “I really got a lot out of the tour – well done to your team and the various presenters” and “Yesterday was great. A real eye opener and I got some good resource leads and ideas.”

Dinner Conversation on Education, Employment, Entrepreneurship & the Emerging Workforce Ecosystem

Colleagues at Hume Whittlesea Local Learning & Employment Network (HWLLEN) are taking the lead on hosting a 21st Century Capabilities Forum on 6 June 2018 (8:30am-1:00pm) at the Hume Global Learning Centre Broadmeadows.
