On Friday 31st July, Wendy Perry was announced as a winner for the Vocational Education and Training (VET) category of The Edupreneur Awards 2015 at a ceremony in Perth, Australia.
About the Edupreneur Awards
How many people applied for the awards?
There were 157 pre-registrations, or which 106 became entrants to the awards from 9 countries and from more than 40 business sectors
Who were nominees competing against?
Entries were open to entrepreneurs, small, medium and large businesses in all industry sectors in Australia nationally. There was also an ‘Out of Australia’ award under which entrants from 9 countries also won an award.
Which association/organisations/department hosts the awards and what’s the background?
The Founder of The Edupreneur Awards is Sarah Cordiner, CEO of MainTraining.
How many people were reached?
The nominations page had over 70,000 views in 8 weeks; had nearly 2million people reached on the awards night itself via the twitter wall, and millions more globally during the run up to the event.
